Fasten front window repair the track into place. Place a fine bead of caulk on the inside of the track to seal it. Do not put so much caulk as to interfere with the trim replacements.

There is no reason to drive around with a broke up windshield. Auto glass replacement is simple and easy. Finding the company to do it for you might take a little finger work but it's worth it.
